Active substances

Vitamin H (biotin)

Biotin is an essential coenzyme in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. It plays an important role in maintaining normal blood glucose levels from protein and fat metabolism. Biotin deficiency results in reduced growth rate and feed efficiency, leads to dermatitis, leg deformities.

Zinc Chelate

Zinc in the form of a chelate is characterised by very high bioavailability compared to other forms. It reaches the small intestine in its unchanged form, where the protective coatings gradually dissolve. Zinc chelate penetrates the intestinal wall much better and facilitates its absorption into the lymphatic system.

Copper chelate

Copper is a trace element found in the active sites of many enzymes. It is needed for the formation of red blood cells, has a beneficial effect on the membrane surrounding nerve cells and is involved in the transmission of nerve impulses. In addition, it is involved in the formation of connective tissue. Its addition has a beneficial effect on the homeostasis of the whole body and increases readiness for the stresses of pregnancy.

Methionine

An essential component for the synthesis of nucleic acids, choline, betaine, creatine phosphate and adrenaline. Increases the synthesis of glutathione (a tripeptide), which eliminates free radicals, protecting the body’s cells from damage caused by toxins and facilitates the removal of toxins.

Lysine

Lysine is an amino acid that horses cannot synthesize on their own. Supplementation is particularly important in diets based on hay and components with low protein content. Lysine improves the protein quality in feed, enhancing its digestibility, which positively affects healthy growth, training performance, and recovery. Supplementing with lysine also prevents protein excess in horses and helps avoid many issues related to low-protein diets. A deficiency in lysine can significantly hinder proper muscle tissue formation and regeneration, and may additionally lead to muscle mass degradation.

Marshmallow

Used in conditions affecting the upper respiratory tract, such as bronchitis and throat inflammation accompanied by cough. It is recommended to take it in cases of inflammation of the upper respiratory tract and in irritations of the mucous membranes of the oral cavity and throat.
